Because 98% of the morons who publish content on the web can barely write, let alone form a cogent thought. Also, they are not actually journalists in any meaningful way. You won't see me commenting about how much MSG4 is going to suck. Even though I positively despise the whole series, I can at least admit that the games are well made (for those that like them). And you certainly won't see me on a talkback for a MSG4 article arguing with fan's why they are wrong. Especially for the game that no one has even played yet.

PS3 only has 37 games with a ranking of 80 or higher on Metacritic.com. While 360 has 81 games with 80 or higher. And the Wii, well, the poor Wii has only 14 games ranked at 80 or higher...ouch. Are people really just buying the Wii because its cheap and cute?

...to think that one game, especially one a niche as MGS could make a console (playstation) or break one (xbox). The MGS Series only the 26 selling franchise, behind Crash Bandicoot (#14), Medal of Honor (#19) and even Frogger (#25). In fact, there isn't a single MG game in the top 20 console games of all time (interesting, though, Halo 2 is in there with 9.2 million in sales).

...I think it looks nice, but its not blowing me away as something here-to-fore unachievable in video games graphics. Looks like more polished (but less detailed) GoW caliber graphics. By definition they are great, but not setting the bar (matching the bar?). I definately need to see this game in person to see what all the fuss is about, cause I'm not getting it...
